Katelyn Lagnese is the 12th grade English teacher at Lee Academy in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She also teaches a myriad of other English related courses such as creative writing and career planning. Prior to teaching at Lee Academy, Katelyn was a 12th grade English teacher and senior class sponsor at Clarksdale High School in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She is a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Masters of Arts in Teaching. Katelyn also attended the University of Mississippi to receive her undergraduate education in English. As an English teacher, Katelyn loves to read and enjoys southern literature such as Pat Conroy and Harper Lee. When she is not working, Katelyn volunteers with the women of the Junior Auxiliary of Clarksdale. She is an avid dog lover and has a rescue pit bull named Olive.
